About This Website

The St. Stephen Community Website was created for Project Serve, a program of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minnesota.  It aims to strengthen community, by using traditional and online media to promote participation in service projects and related activities.

Project Serve's objectives are to

• Challenge all members, from the youngest to the oldest, to join in at least one service activity a year.
• Build connections between people by performing service projects and sharing our stories of service with each other.
• Help members with like passions connect with each other, forming new groups and service opportunities.
• Help manage St. Stephen’s wide variety of ongoing ministries, putting together the people and the skills needed to make our ministries successful.
